Directorate of FEZ "Nukus"

The free economic zone "Nukus", created by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. UP-5809 of September 4, 2019, is a universal platform with special conditions for business development and attraction of investments for the implementation of projects aimed at developing the pharmaceutical industry of the republic.

The purposes of creation of FEZ "Nukus":

- formation of favorable conditions for attracting investments to implement projects aimed at developing the pharmaceutical industry of the republic;

- saturation of the market of medicines of the republic with high-quality preparations of domestic production;

- the integrated use of the productive and resource potential of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, by creating new jobs on this basis;

- increase of incomes of the population of the republic.

Functions of the Directorate of FEZ "Nukus":

 Coordination and operational management

 management of social and economic infrastructure

 preparation and conclusion of an investment agreement

 preparation of necessary documents for state registration on a contractual basis

 keeping the register of participants

 issue of a certificate of the participant of the FEZ "Nukus"

 the provision of land in the territory of the FEZ.

 advising participants of FEZ in various fields (jurisprudence, marketing, accounting, etc.)

 other actions related to the operational management of the FEZ
