Start of business in FEZ

In accordance with the existing procedure, at the first stage the investor submits to the Directorate of the FEZ Nukus a completed investment application for the location of production in the territory of the Nukus FEZ, with its annex:

• Copies of the certificate of state registration of an investor or extract from the trade register at the place of registration of a legal entity legalized in accordance with the established procedure by the consular institution of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Legalization is not required if the documents bear the apostille;

• Business plan of the proposed project;

• Confirmation of the experience of the legal entity in the relevant field, information on similar projects implemented in the relevant field;

• Opinions of the audit firm on financial statements for the period of existence of the legal entity, but not less than for the last three years;

• Documents confirming samples of signatures of the authorized persons of the investor;

All documents are submitted by investors to the Directorate of FEZ “Nukus-Farm” with the application of a certified translation into the state or Russian language.

In the business plan submitted to the Directorate of FEZ “Nukus”, the following basic provisions should be reflected:

Name, volume and range of products planned for production;

Prospective prices and sales markets for products, volumes of production of export-oriented products;

Infrastructural and engineering facilities necessary for the implementation of the proposed project;

Estimated size of the site of the territory of the FEZ “Nukus” for the rational distribution of production;

Availability of raw materials base and guaranteed ability to supply raw materials and materials for the project implementation period;

Description of the technology of the proposed production, taking into account environmental requirements;

Information about the brand to be used;

Calculations of economic efficiency, as well as the most effective technical, organizational and economic solution for the project;

The nature of the technological equipment intended for use in production;

The size of the proposed capital investments, sources of financing and the proposed collateral in the case of borrowing;

All documents are submitted by investors to the Directorate of FEZ “Nukus” with the application of a certified translation into the state or Russian language.
